I told myself that I would dedicate my life to travel and documentary photography

I began my adventure by working for an airline. I became a globetrotter and shot photos whenever I could, wherever I wanted.
80 WEEKS AGO
I served my last meal at 30,000 ft.
68 WEEKS AGO
11 months after the first case of COVID-19, I was let go by my airline.
66 WEEKS AGO
I landed my first client for Not Just A Headshot.
TODAY
Over 150 customers have walked away happily with fresh headshots.
Not Just A Headshot was also once a fresh start for me! Just when I had a plan and thought I would cross borders to see and photograph the world, the whole world turned upside down.
Neither did I have the time to process my job loss nor to make plans for my next step. All I had were photography skills picked up on the road and customer service skills from serving thousands of passengers.
I had to choose between a 9-5 job or starting my own business, which was what I’ve always wanted to do. When I updated my profile on LinkedIn, I saw the same headshots again and again: plain backgrounds with a crossed-arm pose. They look like factory-minted photos.
I knew I could create something different, something more personal. I wanted to redefine headshot photos to make them lively and energetic.
Not Just A Headshot was born in October 2020!
Little did I know this fresh start would open new doors of opportunities for me and teach me many valuable lessons.
From aspiring entrepreneurs, creatives to corporate CEOs, I got to learn so many interesting stories and create impact and value for all these individuals.
Just as I had the opportunity to begin afresh two years ago, I want to share the joy and excitement of a fresh start with you through my photography!
